Telemarketing is often considered the poor relation to other forms of more ‘strategic’ marketing. But this simply doesn’t have to be the case.
Strategically created and managed telemarketing campaigns can be a very effective tool in the marketing armoury and are often overlooked by marketers when planning. Guides and tips are all over the internet but most focus on the consumer-style 'telesales' calls that we have all received from time to time. Such calls often give this specialist industry a bad name when they focus on the 'numbers game' in preference to quality of service. To raise the bar and focus on high quality telemarketing (both business to business and business to consumer) it's worth reading these two publications: MarketingFile's Top 20 Tips for Telemarketing - http://bit.ly/3OnQiw Definitive Guide to Telemarketing - www.funandframes.com/integrity/DefinitiveGuideToTelemarketing.pdf Have a read and share your good and not so good experiences of this direct marketing opportunity...You must sign in to submit comments to this blog.
