Google Insights shows interesting trends in interest in social media and almost any subject under the sun.
As an example, Google Insights for LinkedIn is set to show you how the interest in searches of LinkedIn have varied over recent years.
Try typing in Facebook or Twitter in the search box and you’ll get to see a timeline of interest in searches on subjects and get a good feel for recency, trends and geographic importance in subjects. Work out how you might use this information in your planning. Perhaps for an online strategy or simply tactical search engine optimisation.
